John 11:19-23 (KJV)
19 And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.
20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.
21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.
23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
Jesus could have come earlier to heal their brother. Jesus had healed many sick folks. Mary and Martha had faith to see their brother heal.
I assume they believed, it would take less faith to heal than to raise their brother from the dead.
Jesus chose to raise Lazarus from the dead,rather than to come earlier to heal him.
God is more than able to resurrect any dead area of our lives, no matter how long the promise has taken. When we think it’s too late God always has a way a more spectacular deliverance!
It’s never too late with God! He can either heal or resurrect from the dead–Amen!
There is always a way because Jesus is the way!
